Mindfulness For Tinnitus
I often speak to my clients about “getting into their bodies!” What does this mean?
Most tinnitus people are living up and outwards, meaning they live in their heads most of the time, in a state of fight/flight and always switched on. If you are finding it hard to cope with tinnitus it’s important to feel what’s going on below the neck. Getting your mind into your body helps shift attention away from the ringing in your ears and helps you feel more grounded and calm. The more you practice this, the easier it becomes.
A leading E.N.T Dr has written an article here about tinnitus and mindfulness which could be of some use to anyone suffering.
