About me
Simon baker holistic health
Specialising in nervous system regulation, stress, trauma and tinnitus therapy.
Hi, I’m Simon.
I’ve been working in holistic health for over 10 years, helping people with stress, anxiety, trauma, chronic tension, and tinnitus to feel calmer, more balanced, and connected with their bodies.
My approach is gentle yet structured, combining Craniosacral Therapy, Clinical Reflexology, and nervous system regulation techniques to support lasting change.
I understand the challenge of living in a constant state of stress or with persistent tinnitus — it can be exhausting and isolating. That’s why my work focuses on practical, body-based solutions that help the nervous system settle, so you can feel more in control and at ease.
My Story
My journey into this work began through my own experience with tinnitus.
Earlier in my career, I worked in the music industry as a touring DJ, music producer and sound engineer. Years of working around loud music eventually led to my developing tinnitus.
After having my hearing checked, I was told everything was largely fine apart from some high-frequency hearing loss — something quite common for people exposed to loud environments. However, the constant ringing was incredibly distressing and began affecting my stress levels, sleep and overall wellbeing.
A friend suggested I try Craniosacral Therapy.
The experience was transformative.
Not only did the tinnitus begin to settle, but I felt calmer, more balanced and more connected with my body than I had in years. I realised how much tension and stress my nervous system had been carrying — not just from tinnitus, but from life in general.
That experience set me on a completely new path.
It inspired me to train in Craniosacral Therapy and later Clinical Reflexology, so that I could support others experiencing similar challenges.
Today, I work with people experiencing tinnitus, stress, anxiety and chronic tension, helping the nervous system move out of constant alert and back toward a calmer, more balanced state.
Many people who come to see me recognise similar patterns in their own lives — tinnitus that worsens with stress, difficulty switching off, or a nervous system that feels constantly on alert.
This personal experience continues to shape the way I work today — with empathy, patience and a focus on supporting the nervous system as a whole.
My Approach
My approach blends the subtle techniques of Craniosacral Therapy with the balancing effects of Clinical Reflexology.
Together, these therapies help:
• release deep tension patterns in the body
• calm the nervous system
• support emotional resilience
• restore a greater sense of balance and well-being
Many clients arrive feeling stuck in a constant state of stress or overwhelm. My role is to create a calm and supportive environment where the body can begin to settle and regulate again.
Healing rarely happens through force — it happens when the body finally feels safe enough to let go.
Training and Professional Development
I decided to train as a Craniosacral Therapist at the College of Craniosacral Therapy in London, where I qualified in 2016.
Since then, I have continued to deepen my understanding of how stress, trauma and nervous system dysregulation affect the body.
My qualifications include:
• Craniosacral Therapy – College of Craniosacral Therapy (2016)
• Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology certification (2016)
• ITEC Level 3 Diploma Reflexology – London School of Reflexology (2018)
• Postgraduate training in Shock and Trauma - College of Craniosacral Therapy (2017)
• Tinnitus & Hyperacusis Masterclass – UCL Ear Institute (2019)
• British Tinnitus Association training for professional advisors (2017)
I continue to undertake professional training to deepen my work with nervous system regulation and trauma.
